What you see on screen
You tick checkboxes for the two or three options the question requests from a longer list. Each required choice must be selected on screen to score.
How it is marked
Each correct letter earns one mark in any order, with no negative marking. The instructions state exactly how many letters to choose.
Strategy
- Treat it as elimination: find the options the passage genuinely supports rather than perfect wording.
- The stem's qualifier, like 'advantages mentioned', filters out options merely named in passing.
- Locate the cluster where options are discussed; multi-select answers usually sit within one or two paragraphs.
- Verify every chosen letter against the text individually; one lazy second pick still forfeits a mark.
Traps that cost marks
Picking an option that is mentioned but never presented as an answer to the stem.
Assuming both correct options sit in one sentence; they are often spread across a paragraph.
Now try it under exam conditions.
